Subaru Timing Belt Replacement in Canberra
Many Subaru engines, including the EJ series, use a timing belt that must be replaced at the interval in your logbook. If it fails, the engine stops, and on some engines it can cause serious internal damage. Replacing it on time costs far less than the repair.
What We Replace
We replace the timing belt using genuine Subaru parts and, while it's accessible, recommend replacing the water pump at the same time. It's also the ideal time to look at other wear items at the front of the engine.
Is My Subaru Due?
Check your logbook, or call us with your rego and odometer reading. Newer FA and FB engines use a timing chain, not a belt. We'll tell you which your car has.
